All Adobe (PDF) documents have built in screen readers.

All of my Adobe Documents contain built in screen readers. You do not need Jaws or any other screen reading program to read my Adobe Documents. Simply turn off your screen reader when you enter an Adobe Document. The Tab key will guide you through the various check boxes, list boxes and text boxes.

Actually, all the boxes inside of the Adobe boxes function just like the boxes in a Word Document. They fall into one of four categories:

• Text Box - Read Only. This type of box reads information to you. When you are done listending, press the tab key to continue and move on to the next box. The vast majority of Adobe Documents contain only this type of box because all they do is provide information. The only documents with other box types are the Vendor and Member Registration documents because they must be filled out.
• Text Box - Interactive. This type of box will prompt you to enter information like your name, address or phone number. You simply type your response when information is requested.
• Combo or list box. This type of box will prompt you to choose your answer from a list. You press the up arrow or down arrow keys to select your answer. When you see or hear the correct answer, you press the tab key to continue on to the next box or field.
• Check box. This box lets you answer by using a check mark. You press the return key to check or uncheck the box. As usual, you press the Tab key to move on to the next box.

As a reminder, most of the adobe documents you will find here provide information and do not require you to response at all. For these, you simply remember to press the tab key to movee from box to box. On the other hand, if you are filling out the application to come to the conference, you may need to turn on the num lock if you use the num pad to type phone numbers or address information.
